Showcasing over 320 short films each year from more than 40 countries, with a library of more than 2,700 films available to film buyers, industry and press in its concurrent Short Film Market, it is the largest festival of its kind in America.<\/p>\n<p>As always, ShortFest has culled a huge selection of dazzling new animated, live action and documentary short films for its line-up from among 2,700 submissions to the event this year. And while these films are short in length, they are long on entertainment value \u2013 in turns amusing, enlightening, challenging and provocative \u2013 all of which adds up to the perfect recipe for a great time at the movies.
